Also, I added a new page featuring my family's pets. It can be found through the About NatureFairy page, or through here: CATS!
I updated the Meet the Girls page. The changes are in the first paragraph(s), plus the line for the Monster High addition.

First, meet Abigail Caitlin, or Abi, as I'm going to call her for the most part. She came all the way from Hawaii, and arrived yesterday! :D I already have pictures taken, and hope to have a picture story up soon to celebrate her arrival. Next, I know I still need to get some of the older picture stories uploaded, plus Abi's, but I really want to get all my dolls changed for their Costume Fashion Show before Halloween. And then I'll need to start getting them all changed for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. And I really haven't done any sewing in a while beyond mending a couple of dolly things. The new kitties and regular chores are taking up time, plus I tend to get sidetracked online (which irritates me, but it always happens. . .) Oh well. . . Anyway, it's late again, so I should get off the computer and get some sleep, so I can hopefully get up early-ish. Night!
Okay, now to explain why the last few posts, though the title dates them as being from last month, where posted today. I forgot to update the blog. . . And, I've not been doing a lot of crafty things lately. . . I've been trying to sell some of my dolls (not my AG girls) and I've let that take up too much of my time. Also, we had some hopefully temporary additions to the household, sort of. . . As you can see, they are four-legged and furry. And very, very sweet. And though I'll miss them when they are gone, I've been trying to help find them a home where they can be inside kitties. They showed up one day, and we have no idea where they came from. We can't keep them, sadly... Anyway, on the page for the Customizable Purse, I mentioned that Ayame was distractedly displeased that Aimi had taken the purse. Well, after selling some of my dolls (still have more to go) I found a Stitch plush on eBay (guess what?! He came from Hawaii! :D) and I bought him. He arrived yesterday, and Ayame claimed him. Although, I think Sonali wants to be Lilo for Halloween (no, I don't celebrate Halloween, but I do enjoy dressing my dolls up in costumes I don't normally dress them in other times of the year) and if so, she wants to use Stitch to complete the outfit (which I still have to figure out wrist and ankle bands for). Isn't he adorable? :D He got here in three days! I was so excited when I opened the box he arrived in. Oh, you want to see the rest of Ayame too? Ok! :D There's Stitch again! :) Anyway, the dress, tights, and shoes are some of the other things I bought from my mom, and Yoshi (also adorable) I got last year from Target. Isn't Ayame just so cute in this outfit? She really likes it.
Serra was napping, so Katara volunteered to assist with the photo taking. She is wearing the Halter . . . skirt? as a one shoulder dress. She exchanged the drawstring for a child's chain necklace. With her is Candy and Mouse who turned out to be fairly good-sized for the American Girl doll (okay, Mouse might be a little big, but he's still cute).
We were gone most of yesterday, so I didn't get anything new done. Maybe I can get that tank top done tonight. |
